the remembering series

The remembering series was developed from narratives in the 2017 performance opening space: conversations about death and dying in the Ill at Ease: Dis-ease in Art exhibition at the University at Buffalo, Buffalo, New York. 

During the performance, four individual narratives (Matthew, Helen, Mark, Beth) were shared with audience members, who were invited to contribute and share stories about individuals important in their lives who had died. These data points form the textual content for the other three images in this series.
